Norman Cabrera’s passion for the macabre started at an early age. He began his professional career at age 20 creating creatures for Hollywood FX blockbusters including Hellboy 1 and 2, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and many more. Cabrera also created stage design, props, and creatures for Rob Zombie, Danzig, The Ramones, and The Misfits. In January 2026 he launched his new brand MaCabre Fixtures to bring grim goods to your haunt and home with an attention to detail only seen in films.

Keanen Bechler is a designer and builder of specialty costumes for the cosplay community since the early 2000s. He joined forces with Cabrera in January 2026 to help create the unique designs for Macabre Fixtures. In just three short months Cabrera melded his expert knowledge of organic forms with Bechler’s mastery of hard line shapes in a perfect blend of organic and architectural design.
